The Gardens at Casa Familia, a $27 million, 50-unit supportive residential community in Kendall, completed construction through a development collaboration between Pinnacle and non-profit Casa Familia, Inc. Studio Mc+G Architecture designed the four-story project, constructed by PC Building LLC at 11025 SW 84th Street. The community delivers specialized one-bedroom affordable apartments for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As Phase III of the nine-acre Casa Familia campus, the development addresses crucial demand for specialized housing in Miami-Dade County while expanding Pinnacle’s commitment to impactful community development.
Every residence incorporates tailored smart-home technology to promote independent living, complemented by on-site amenities such as a fitness center, community room, covered terrace, gazebo, Zen garden, and electrical vehicle charging stations. Residents also enjoy full access to the campus’s 11,000-square-foot community center with programming managed by Sunrise Community Inc. With the completion of The Gardens at Casa Familia, Pinnacle advances its model of public-private partnerships to build inclusive, service-enriched affordable housing that strengthens South Florida’s social infrastructure.
