Max Cruz has over 25 years of real estate and development experience.  Over the course of his career he has personally entitled, developed, and overseen construction of over 3,200 rental homes across Florida and closed on over $500 million of rental financing.  He has also overseen the development of over 2,300 for-sale homes and $136 Million of for-sale financing.  Prior to joining Pinnacle, Max was the Chief Operations Officer for Premium Development (“Premium”), a developer of multifamily communities in Florida, overseeing the day-to-day operation and managing the company’s employees and development staff.  Before joining Premium, Max was Co-Head of National Development for Housing Trust Group (“HTG”), a leading developer of affordable multifamily residential communities in Florida and throughout the Southeastern United States. At HTG, Max managed a staff of 17 developers across five states, and oversaw all aspects of development, from site acquisition through completion of over 2,000 rental homes.  Prior to HTG, Max was Vice President of Development for the Related Group’s luxury market rate division responsible for all aspects of real estate development from entitlement to completion across Florida. Prior to that, Max was the Vice President of Development and Finance for the Cornerstone Group, a multifamily developer of over 10,000 affordable and market rate multifamily apartments over the past 30 years.

Mr. Cruz graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance.
