GrowthSpotter reports that Pinnacle is planning a new affordable senior housing community next to Kissimmee’s Tupperware SunRail Station.
The company is under contract for a 2.15-acre lot at Orange Avenue and Tupperware Boulevard and has applied for 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits to build 90 units for seniors earning 30%–60% of the area median income. Pinnacle envisions a five-story, elevator-served building with surface parking, pending financing approval.
Amenities may include a clubhouse with meeting space, fitness and cyber lounge along with outdoor recreation designed to offer a “resort-style” living experience.
The site’s proximity to SunRail, Orlando Health’s Tupperware campus, and Gateway Crossings shopping should strengthen its tax credit application. The development would join a growing cluster of nearby housing, including Pinnacle at the Wesleyan in nearby Kissimmee.
